Road trip again

So here we are at the crack of dawn on yet another road trip. This time on a bus and going westwards! Shud be fun. Bintulu here we come! Hehe

2010-2011

Just about to leave the office and just about to swap the old 2010 calendar for the brand new 2011 calendar. Im not reflecting on 2010, but it has been an amazing year for me personally and its kinda sad in a way. Lots of life changing experience. Lots of invaluable life lessons. Ups and downs. Sad moments and of course happy and awesome moments too. Pokoknya semua ada lah. And all those reflected and feelings rushing back just as I was about to swap the calendar. Apa-apapun Alhamdulillah shukrillah

Mornings

I just love coming into the office in the mornings with those sunshine strips on my desk. To me they represent mornings. Fresh crisp brand new mornings. And that feels great. *sigh* I think Im just a morning person hehe

While doing some spring cleaning in the office, stumbled onto this old Muhibah mag Nov/Dec 96 issue. And it has a khanjar on its cover and a feature on Oman inside. Eversince I was a kid Ive always been facinated by the other sultanate and I dont know why. Unfortunately never had the chance to visit the place yet. I had an Omani friend while at school and asked that I visit him. Obviously I never did. Now I have another Omani friend who insist that I come visit him. Only fair as he and his wife came fr a visit. Also I have Bruneian friends laki bini now with a baby whos moved to Oman whom I excitedly promised to come and visit tapi alum jua *I can just see KD rolling her eyes* hehe Anyway pokok pangkalnya I WANNA GO TO OMAN PLEASE!!

Zooming back home

Im catching the late night flight to the abode tonight. Left the family to enjoy KK for a couple more days. As for me, kraja early tomorrow morning.

For those who knows me, they know it is such a rare opportunity for me to fly and dressed as santai as this. So Im enjoying every second of it.

Had toffee nut latte earlier today. I was ecstatic to learn its available at starbuks KK. Ordered it. Unfortunately it dont taste the same as the one I had for weeks not too long ago :(

Ada kureng sket

Eversince coming back from hajj my right ear have not been able to perform well. I know theres a blockage in the eustacian tube due to the batok andtt selisma and hoping it'll go away. But it never did. So today, after weeks of unable to hear well in my right ear, i decided to go to a clinic. To be honest I just cudnt bear with it anymore. The lovely doctor prescribed a nasal spray and an anti congestion. Hopfully it does the trick Insyallah as Im going off on hols this weekend and dont want to be in pain during decending. Anyway, in total it cost me 104.5 inlcluding consultation fee. A bit mahal i guess by standard tani but Im depesrado. Ok lah Wish me luck

Alhamdulillah. U wont believe it. I got my hubcap back! I was just telling babu that I lost a hub cap. Luckily, she saw one lying by the roadside 2 simpangs away from ours and it turned out to be mine! Baik jua. Sep jua usin hehe

Just put up a picture of kaabah on my desk at work. This pic i took personally during umrah and it brings a lot of memory when i look at it. Reminds me the unforgetable suasana and what an amazing experience it was. Rindu lagi kan kesana. Mudahan Allah taala membari kitani semua kesempatan untuk menunaikan ibadah haji dan umrah! Amin

Zakat fitrah

Gentlemen.. Dont forget to pay your Zakat Fitrah this year! With the trip coming up and only returning close to raya, thought I'll pay mine early. Maklumlah.. mun sudah sibuk kan raya karang kelupahan. Terawih lagi inda pandai di masjid. So sementara awal, this year's kadar zakat fitrah is B$2.84 per person for beras wangi.

Gerai ramadan

As usual, one of the must do activity during Ramadan is making rounds at the gerai ramadan. This year I pitched up early on the very first day itself. But alhamdulillah I didnt go overboard with the food buying. So that was excellent. The pic below was taken at the stadium gerai.

New Addition

Alhamdulillah at about 12 noon today, my sister uteh gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 3.4 kgs. Today is the 12th August, so that means he shares the same birth date with nini bungsu who turns 75 today and also Aisyah Rania 5. Alhamdulillah.

Google Doodle

So this is my cousin's entry for 4th Google Doodle. I understand there were 35k entries in total and his entry was one of top 40! Amazing right?! Unfortunately, his entry was disqualified. Even though he goes to a US school, he is not a citizen. So therefore, it was disqualified. Even more unfortunate, he only found that out after the top 40 was announced.
